Did you know VEG Education provides programs for schools? Super VEG Day Out is an excursion like no other.

Healthy eating by primary school-aged children is important for good health and development.
Food literacy is therefore important for the early establishment of healthy dietary behaviours that can be sustained in later life.

VEG Schools is a unique program designed to educate and inspire school students to understand where their food comes from, the benefits of eating vegetables and the opportunities across the horticulture industry.
Aligned to the Victorian Curriculum and perfect for VCDSTC025: Food and fibre production – Investigate food and fibre production used in modern or traditional societies.

  • Arrive 10am – Depart 12pm

  • Farm and/or facility tour
  • Living Classroom

This can all be funded through the Victorian Farmers Federation Kids to Ag project grants.
