Live Integrated Experience
As part of our advanced diploma of horticulture, all students will undergo simulated and real-world integrated experience horticulture training in a live workplace. For most of our students, training will be arranged in a suitable workplace either through our trainers or by the student themselves. If a suitable workplace can’t be found, horticulture training may be arranged at Velisha Farms, a live horticulture business attached to Velisha Education. Advanced Horticulture Traineeship
Through a Velisha Horticulture Traineeship and diploma, you will learn to manage finances, develop enterprise strategy, manage human resources and work health and safety, provide leadership and manage organisational change. These are all essential skills for working in a live horticulture business, skills that will allow you to achieve your best in the workforce.
